One step out of line, or off the mark – and a prophet is dead in the water. Before you ever claim to another human being that you have the gift of prophecy, you better know God’s word. I don’t mean that you need to memorize every scripture; but know in your heart the difference between right and wrong, and always consider “What would Jesus do?” To know Jesus is to know God’s word, for He is the word, the truth and the light. You can choose to disregard the word, deny the truth and hide from the light; just remember…darkness creates nothing.
